Terms of Use
Glucose Thread is provided by Stephen Ayers, doing business as Drive Logic. These terms explain the app and related website. The app license is governed by Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These terms do not replace that license or reduce your mandatory consumer rights.
Medical and emergency limitations
Glucose Thread is not cleared or approved as a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent disease. Readings, graphs, colors, alerts, widgets, watch complications, Live Activities, Siri answers, nutrition estimates, and AI findings may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. Do not use them to choose or change treatment, medication, insulin, or dietary decisions for a medical condition. Verify information with your official monitor, follow its instructions, and consult a qualified healthcare professional before making medical decisions.
The app does not replace Libre or Dexcom alarms, guarantee delivery of alerts, monitor emergencies, or contact emergency services. If readings do not match your symptoms, follow your prescribed care plan and the official device instructions. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
AI and nutrition information
AI-generated text, nutrition values, barcode results, and pattern explanations can be wrong. Review and correct every estimate before saving. Associations do not establish causation, a diagnosis, or treatment guidance. Do not use estimated carbohydrate or nutrition values to calculate insulin or medication doses. Device, language, region, model, network, and provider limits affect availability.
Permitted use and your information
Use the app lawfully and only with accounts and information you are authorized to access. You retain your rights in your entries and photos. Requesting an online feature permits the transmission and processing needed for that feature as described in the Privacy Policy. Do not submit another person's information without permission, misuse third-party services, bypass access controls, or disrupt the service. Keep independent copies of records you need.
App purchase and planned AI subscription
The US App Store price is set at US$1.99 for the app. A separate AI subscription is planned at US$4.99 per month. The AI subscription is not currently offered for purchase. Current TestFlight access does not purchase or start a paid subscription.
Before an AI subscription is offered, its purchase screen will identify the included AI features, request or usage limits, supported devices, and any required external-provider account. No unlimited usage, particular model, or third-party API credits are promised. The app purchase and AI subscription are separate charges; local prices and applicable taxes are shown by Apple.
When offered, the monthly subscription will renew automatically unless canceled before renewal. Payment and renewal are handled through your Apple Account. You can manage or cancel in your Apple Account subscription settings. Cancellation stops future renewal; access ordinarily continues for the paid period, subject to Apple's refund rules. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Refund requests are handled through Apple, without limiting rights provided by law. Any trial or price change will be disclosed before it applies.
External services and separate charges
LibreLinkUp, Dexcom Share, Open Food Facts, and optional AI providers operate independently. Their availability, terms, account requirements, and prices may change. If you connect your own OpenAI, Anthropic, or OpenRouter account, any charges from that provider are separate unless the purchase screen expressly states otherwise. Glucose Thread is not affiliated with or endorsed by these providers or glucose-monitoring manufacturers.
Availability and responsibility
Features may be interrupted by device, network, software, or third-party service failures. TestFlight builds are pre-release software and may change or expire. To the extent permitted by law, the app and website are provided as available without additional guarantees of uninterrupted operation or accuracy. The warranty and liability provisions of Apple's Standard EULA apply to the app. Nothing here excludes a warranty, remedy, liability, or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.
Changes, privacy, and support
We may update these terms as the service changes, with notice where required. Review the date above and the Privacy Policy. For support, privacy requests, or questions about these terms, use the Drive Logic contact page. Do not send passwords, glucose readings, medical records, or other sensitive health information in a support request.
